PROSUP
Lightweight Dutch engineering for camera motion
01 —About
The PROSUP
story.
Founded in 2000 by inventor and engineer Eric Steenvoorden, PROSUP designs and manufactures lightweight aluminum camera-support systems from its workshop in Nederhorst den Berg, the Netherlands. Where most camera-support catalogs focus on body-side rigging, PROSUP specializes in the gear that moves the camera — sliders, dollies, jib arms, and the bowl plates, leveller balls, and adapters that hold it all together.
The hero product lines tell the story. The **Tango Roller** and **LT Track** sliders deliver repeatable motion passes in a form factor light enough to fly into a location in a Pelicase. The **Laptop Dolly** is the workhorse for studios, weddings, and indie sets that need a low-profile platform with smooth tracking. The **eJib** folds down to under-arm length and opens into a full jib arm, putting an aerial move into the reach of a single operator. Round out the kit with **Mitchell plates**, **150mm / 100mm / 75mm leveller bowls**, **half balls**, **half-ball adapters**, and the inventory of tiedowns, spigots, and end stoppers that keep professional crews moving fast.
PROSUP's design language is mechanical-first: every hole, screw, and clamp is engineered for stiffness at the lowest possible weight. The systems are iterated on the back of feedback from cameramen working on the world's largest sports productions — Rio, Football Championships, broadcast newsrooms, EFP rigs in every weather condition. That feedback loop is why PROSUP gear ends up in the same flight cases on the same fleets, year after year. It's not flashy. It's the equipment that doesn't fail when the shot has to happen.
