When using this LPL close focus adapter on a LPL mount a macro function will be added to the lens. With the Close Focus Adapter you will extend the flange distance between lens and camera. The increase in distance is 20 mm for this adapter. When using LPL lenses with this adapter you will get a very small depth of field, like with macro lenses.
