Vocas MB-256 matte box

The Vocas MB-256 is a lightweight and compact matte box designed for professional DSLR and small cine lens setups. With a 114 mm clamp-on interface, it mounts directly to the lens front, making it perfect for gimbal, handheld, or run-and-gun configurations. This wide-angle matte box supports two 4” x 4” filters, one fixed and one rotatable, allowing for flexible light control and creative possibilities on set. Included are two filter trays (0310-0001), an adjustable top flag (0330-0001), and Vocas' patented internal eyebrows, built into the hood to reduce lens flares and reflections. The MB-256 can be used as a clip-on matte box or adapted for a 15 mm LWS rod support system with optional accessories such as the bars adapter (0360-0100) or swing-away adapter (0460-0600). It accommodates filter sizes from 3” x 3” up to 4” x 6” and is compatible with most wide-angle lenses in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
