Who we are

BOLD Cine is the U.S. distribution partner for a small, carefully chosen group of cinema brands. We're not a catalog house, and we don't sell anything we wouldn't put on a set ourselves. Our job is to bring great gear from specialist manufacturers — many of them family-owned, several of them with decades of pedigree — into the hands of the working filmmakers, students, and emerging DPs who use it.

If a brand is on this site, it earned its spot.

Five names, all hand-picked, all backed by real warranties and an authorized U.S. dealer network.

The headline addition to the new site is the BOLD Cine Advisor — an AI built on our full catalog. Describe the shoot in plain language ("14×16 interview studio, two subjects, daylight balance" or "run-and-gun doc kit with a shoulder rig"), and the Advisor returns specific gear recommendations across lighting, support, and accessories. It's trained on real specs, not marketing copy.

Want to drill deeper into one brand? Brand-specific Advisors live on each brand page — the LUPO Lighting Advisor goes deep on output, color, and fixture pairing, and we're rolling out the same treatment for the rest of the catalog.

It's the fastest way to go from "I think I need a key light" to "here are the three fixtures that fit your room, in stock at this dealer."
